We work closely and regularly with IEP teams and student support services at private schools to formulate academic goals, to help school teams understand the social-emotional needs of students, and to ensure that their strengths and superpowers are appreciated and considered in educational plans.
We are happy to review educational records and to provide consultation regarding next steps and key advocacy points related to optimal school placement, needed supports and services, fair and appropriate academic accommodations, and offers of FAPE in the public schools. We conduct school observations as needed to inform academic planning and social-emotional development.
